“Here, son, eat”.
A cleaning worker says this as she opens the paper where she keeps her lunch. She doesn’t have much, but she splits what she has in two.
When the cameraman asks if she really calls him her “son”, she answers without hesitation: “Yes, yes”. She says the animal was abandoned, no one takes care of him, and she feeds him every day, at breakfast and lunch. And she points to another dog that also depends on her.
The person who filmed the scene says she greets him with a smile every morning and that the dog follows her as she works. Sometimes tenderness doesn’t come with grand gestures, but with half a plate, because everyone deserves love and a comforting meal.
