After the controversial breakup experienced by Vinícius Júnior and his ex-girlfriend Virginia Fonseca, everything indicated that things between the two had not ended so badly because of the statement she published.
But, shortly afterward, the Brazilian presenter became embroiled in a lot of criticism over a video in which she appeared making a controversial gesture after their breakup: she filmed herself kissing a monkey.
The video was interpreted as a criticism of Vinicius himself, so she was accused of racism, forcing Virginia to have to give explanations:
“I’m stopping by here to apologize to anyone who felt offended by my video. Never, in my life, did it cross my mind that this was going to happen, that they were going to make that ridiculous comparison. Never in my life did I want to offend anyone. I have always supported Vini in the fight against racism and I will continue to support him, regardless of whether we are together or not“, the Brazilian woman said.
