Amy said she thought the story would resonate more if told by someone outside the family. GoFundMe said concealing the organizer’s identity and her relationship to the beneficiaries violates its rules.
Amy opened another fundraiser on GiveSendGo, which had surpassed 45.000 dollars toward a 100.000 goal, according to Monday’s report. She maintains that her parents still need help.
