An unusual commercial incident linked to the high temperatures in Europe became a trend on the web after surveillance videos were leaked.
The incident took place at the Welcome Store convenience shop, located in Castleford, within the Yorkshire region of England. A group made up of 5 women wearing beach clothes entered the shop at around 15:00 looking to make off with bottled cocktail products from the BuzzBallz brand and cans of soft drinks without making the corresponding payment.
The business owner shared the footage to expose the customers on the internet, unleashing a wave of comments from local residents, although West Yorkshire Police reported that it has no formal complaints about the incident.
