Wanda Poggio is 21 years old, lives in Mar del Plata, Argentina, and has been venturing into the world of music for 3 years with a clear dream: “To make a living by entertaining people with music”, and this weekend she fulfilled it in a big way by performing at the third edition of Cafest, the Mar del Plata food event, where her cumbia and cuarteto setlist drew all eyes and quickly went viral because of the professionalism and authority she showed behind the decks, becoming Wanda Pop, the DJ with Down syndrome who is winning hearts.

Wanda is part of the DJs Factory school, and her performance at the event was part of a group participation by students in the matinée time slot, but her charisma and talent made her stand out among them all, and although for many it was a surprise that made her performance go viral, for her it was something natural: “I expected this response”, said the young woman, who arrived at the event accompanied by her schoolmates and her family, who support her in each of her decisions.

Her track list included “huge hits” from the urban genre that made it impossible for the audience present to stand still, and after experiencing a dream afternoon, Wanda described her experience: “I enjoyed it so much”, she said calmly.
