Pablo Acuña has neither arms nor legs, but he never stopped being a dad.

He was born that way in Paraguay and has been getting around for decades on a small wooden cart. When his partner left, his younger daughter was just four months old, and his older daughter was three. He raised them alongside his mother, Ignacia del Valle.

He learned to use a cell phone and the TV remote with his nose, and although he was never able to go to school, his daughters remember his good humor and the wisdom of his advice.
When Ignacia could no longer care for him because of her age, Élida, the younger daughter, made a decision: she left Argentina and returned to Paraguay to help him with everyday tasks. “He is my friend, my confidant, and the best dad in the world”, she explained.

The story reached thousands of people, and a wave of solidarity enabled them to have a home of their own, adapted to their needs. Ignacia died at the age of 97, and Pablo is already dreaming of a vehicle so he can go out, explore new places, and visit friends.
