Zack Anglin was born in Nigeria with a congenital difference affecting all four of his limbs: he has no hands or feet. ✈️ After being adopted by an American family, he grew up in Wisconsin and dreamed from a young age of becoming a pilot. The path was not easy: several flight schools rejected him, and he had to obtain special authorization to demonstrate to the FAA that he could operate an airplane safely.

In 2019, he earned his pilot credentials and later also became an instructor, going from fighting for the chance to fly to teaching future pilots. ❤️

His story continues to earn recognition: in March 2025, he was honored at the Aviation Week Network Laureate Awards in Washington, D.C., for his career and contributions to aviation. Years after so many doors closed to him, Zack continues to help train a new generation of pilots.
