Raquel Lee was 14 years old when she filmed ‘The Poof Point’ for Disney.

According to the lawsuit she filed on August 21, 2026, in Los Angeles, a production employee allegedly gave her alcohol and behaved inappropriately toward her on several occasions, first at a hotel in Salt Lake City and then during the flight back to California. The man is identified in the document as “John Doe”, so his identity has not been disclosed. The lawsuit also states that Disney allegedly separated her from her guardian, ignored warning signs, and began describing her as an “out-of-control” teenager when she started showing changes in her behavior.

And there is one detail that makes her story even more striking: Raquel continued working for Disney for years and even lent her voice to ‘The Proud Family’ through 2025. Now, thanks to a California law that extended the deadline for filing these types of lawsuits involving situations experienced during childhood, she was able to bring her case to court. Disney has not publicly responded to the allegations so far.
