Hayden Panettiere had been talking for days about how excited she was to see her daughter again. 💔 The actress would have turned 37 on August 21 and already had a very special plan to celebrate it: travel to Germany and spend the entire week with 11-year-old Kaya.
According to her friend Erick Orellana, Hayden was eagerly looking forward to that trip and kept mentioning the reunion. “She was so excited to see her”, he recalled. For her, it wasn’t simply about celebrating a birthday, but about having several days to spend with the person those close to her described as “the light of her life”.
Kaya lives in Europe with her father, Wladimir Klitschko, so mother and daughter spent long periods apart. Even so, Hayden spoke proudly of her and hoped to keep making up for lost time together.
But that trip never happened. Hayden died just days before turning 37, leaving the celebration she had already imagined with her daughter unfulfilled.
Today, on a date when she should have been celebrating and preparing for that long-awaited reunion, one cannot help but think about that week with Kaya that she had looked forward to so much but never got to experience. 💔
