““We’re children of incest!””: Dylan Sprouse discovered that his parents’ families had already been joined through marriage in the 19th century and joked about the discovery

Dylan Sprouse is 34 and discovered something unexpected while researching his family tree with Ancestry: different branches of his family that arrived in California during the Gold Rush eventually crossed paths again through marriage. The discovery became even more curious when he found that there are seven pairs of twins across four generations of his family. 😅

During the Wildmen podcast, published on October 20, Dylan said he even called his brother Cole to show him the discovery, but Cole refused to look at the image and ended up hanging up on him. Among the jokes, Dylan went so far as to say that maybe there were so many twins because “it’s the same family” and ended up describing both brothers as “children of incest”. Cole, for his part, reacted to the headline on social media, saying that no media training could prepare him to read something like that at 10 in the morning. 😂

A family tree full of unexpected connections, marriages between branches of the family, and a surprising number of twins—an account that became one of the most bizarre stories about the Sprouse brothers.
