In Puerto Rico, the twin son of Ricky Martin posted a video asking for something simple: that people stop comparing him to his father.
“My name is Valentino Martin, not Ricky Martin”, he said to the camera.
The video did not stay online for long: he deleted it shortly afterward, without giving an explanation, possibly because of the flood of criticism pouring down on him.
Days later, Ricky Martin shared a phrase from his account that many read as an indirect response:
“We are far too grown-up to be mean people, go to therapy, eat a quartz, hug trees, go to the sea, whatever it takes, but heal and stop fucking with others .”
