“My sister is my muse and my pride, she is my muse… In my imagination, I always see her before myself”
Pedro Pascal is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces. But in this conversation, he wasn’t the famous actor: he was the older brother.
For the October 2025 issue of ELLE, he interviewed his younger sister, Lux Pascal, 17 years younger than him. She, who graduated from Juilliard and stars in her first feature film, “Miss Carbón”, said without hesitation that she is “the luckiest girl in the world” to be his sister.
He replied with a phrase that sums it all up: “There’s nothing you couldn’t do if you weren’t you”.
Lux publicly came out as a trans woman in February 2021. As she told The Hollywood Reporter, Pedro was “as kind as we imagine” and she learned from him that there’s no reason to hide who she is. “We’re very protective of each other”, she told People.
Their mother died when Lux was very young. Perhaps that’s why the bond between the Pascal siblings feels so strong.
