The Alianza Lima striker revealed that he and his wife bought a house for the woman who had worked in their home for years as a domestic worker, a mother of four, who until then lived alone, supporting her family. “I have the opportunity to give a woman with four children, who is raising them alone, a better quality of life. How many people can do it and don’t”, the Argentine footballer explained.
What was most striking was how he did it: not as a handout, but as a gift between equals. “My wife and I did it from the heart. We bought her everything as if it were for us because they also deserve to have that opportunity”, Barcos said, making it clear that for him generosity has no hierarchies.
