Dana White, president of the company, held nothing back. He acknowledged that there are probably gay fighters within the organization, although so far no one has said so publicly. He gave Amanda Nunes as an example, who has worn shirts with the rainbow flag and the message “we are all fighters” in her fights, and clarified that he thinks that’s perfectly fine.
But he went further: he said he doesn’t give a damn what each fighter does in their private life, and that a special Pride event simply isn’t in the UFC’s plans.
