Former Real Madrid footballer Wesley Sneijder made controversial statements about FC Barcelona’s celebration after winning the league:
“They celebrate a league title as if they had conquered football, and they have been failing in Europe for 10 years. Fans compare Lamine Yamal to Cristiano because of league titles, that tells you everything about how low that club has fallen. Cristiano dominated Europe for almost 20 years. Barca fans should be more concerned about getting past the knockout rounds in the Champions League”, the Dutchman concluded.
