Jackie Chan may be a master of action films, but it seems real-life fatherhood has been a much tougher role for him.

Etta Ng Chok Lam, his 26-year-old daughter, was born from an extramarital relationship with former Elaine Ng Yi-Lei. Although the actor admitted in 1999 that he had made “a mistake that many men make,” the reality is that he never built a relationship with her or provided financial support.

The situation became even more painful when Etta and her partner, Andi Autumn, shared a video revealing they had been living on the streets due to a lack of support from their families.

“We’ve been homeless for a month because of homophobic parents,” they said while searching for shelter.

Her mother was quick to criticize them, suggesting they should find jobs instead of relying on someone else’s fame. Meanwhile, Jackie Chan did not even mention her in his memoir, making it clear that, for him, his biological daughter simply does not exist.
