That happened to Shin Ji-won, the South Korean actress you knew as Johyun from Berry Good, during the VIP premiere of “Karlovy Vary” in Seoul on September 4, 2026.
The tight-fitting burgundy dress with a V-neck revealed a bulge in the lower-abdomen area under the venue’s lighting. She spent much of the greeting with her hands clasped in front of her body, as if trying to conceal it.
Social media was quick to speculate: some blamed the stylist for choosing an unsuitable fabric, others pointed to a poorly hidden audio device, and some even argued that it was simply an optical effect caused by the lighting and the fabric’s folds.
No one officially confirmed anything, but the question left hanging is simple: why can a dress become the most talked-about news from a film premiere?
