Nicole Kidman is 59 years old and has never admitted to having facial surgery.
But in January 2025, after her appearance at the Golden Globes, the photos began circulating mercilessly. Everyone was looking at the same thing: her earlobes, stretched downward, almost attached to her cheeks. Experts gave it a name: “pixie ears”, an effect also known in plastic surgery as “bat ears”.
The surgeon Mark Solomos explained it bluntly: this stretching of the earlobe often gives away a facelift, especially when the procedure tightens the skin too much instead of working on the deeper layers of the face.
Dermatologist Laura Geige agrees: it occurs more often in thin or less elastic skin and is worsened by repeated surgeries. Kidman never confirmed it. She only once acknowledged trying Botox, and even regretted it.
The rest, specialists say, is told by her own ear. Despite the criticism, the actress is shining on red carpets this year, looking younger; some say she has already undone her surgeries and cosmetic touch-ups.
