Grigoraș speaks Russian and Moldovan. His new roommate friend only speaks French. Neither understands a word the other says, yet they have been sharing a room in a hospital in Moldova for barely two days and are already inseparable. 🥺
Both are receiving cancer treatment, those long days when isolation usually gets the better of childhood.
But these two found another way to communicate: they play, laugh, and push the IV pole together through the hallways. Every morning they wait for the other to wake up so they can run over and hug each other.
Grigoraș’s mother recorded everything and could not hold back her tears when she saw them. She says their hearts speak a language that needs no translation. Watching them, it is impossible not to believe her. ❤️
