What set social media ablaze was the after photo: a flat, uninflamed abdomen just one day after the surgery. Some say it is impossible to recover that quickly and suspect Photoshop or filters.
Others argue that every body heals differently and that not everything deserves suspicion. “If I get my appendix removed, will I look like that?” some joked in the comments, “I had the same surgery two months ago and I am still swollen” another user also commented. Many wished her a speedy recovery.
