Six siblings. One flight. A wound that never fully healed.

On September 14, 2016, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and their six children were flying from France to Los Angeles when, according to documents she submitted to the court, everything fell apart on board. Jolie stated that Pitt had been drinking, insulted her, and grabbed her violently, and that when one of their children tried to defend her, he also reacted aggressively. Five days later, she filed for divorce and full custody of the minors.

The FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services investigated the case. Neither filed charges. But the damage had already been done behind closed doors. Over the years, Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox, and Vivienne began legal proceedings to remove the Pitt surname, while Pax and Knox, without needing to sign anything, simply stopped using it. 💔

Six children, one silent way of saying: this is as far as we go.
