When we talk about Lady Di, we can only think of the woman most beloved worldwide with a heartbreaking ending. After her tragic death, her remains did not end up in the royal cemetery, but at Althorp House, her childhood mansion 122 kilometers from London.

Her brother Charles, concerned about the attention her tomb could attract to the area and the possible theft of her body, decided to create an oval artificial island surrounded by a lake, with black swans, trees, and her favorite flowers (Forget-me-nots).

The tomb known as Oval Lake Grave is completely private; no tourist can enter, but they can view it from afar so they can pay their respects. Sadly, Diana was only able to achieve the privacy she dreamed of after her death.
