She will have to pay a huge fine: Woman went for a swim in the Trevi Fountain and thought it was funny

She didn’t even care that the police were approaching to arrest her 🤦🏻‍♀️

A woman decided to jump in and swim in the Trevi Fountain, in Rome, as if one of the most famous monuments in the world were a public pool. Her partner filmed her, there were tourists watching, and she stayed in the water as if it were all part of the outing.

It didn’t last long. Security staff and police approached to get her out, but in the video she seemed to take it with absurd calm, as if she hadn’t just gotten herself into a huge problem.

And of course, the joke cost her dearly. According to reports, she was fined 500 euros and was also banned from entering the Trevi Fountain again. In other words, she took the most expensive and least intelligent dip of her vacation.

Because we’re not talking about just any fountain. It’s one of the most iconic places in Rome, not a hotel courtyard. So in the end she thought it was funny… and ended up becoming another example of a tourist doing exactly what she shouldn’t have.
