We live in a time when it is extremely easy to complain. Adults and young people blame the economy, the lack of internet, luck, or not having a computer to go look for a job.
But then Lucas Gabriel da Silva comes along, a young man born in 2005 with unfinished primary school, and leaves us all speechless.
Without money for an internet café, a computer, or a printer, Lucas took a sheet of paper and a pen and, with enviable spelling and handwriting, wrote his résumé by hand.
Every day he goes out into the streets to collect recyclable materials to help feed his family, but he made one thing clear on his sheet:
“I am not looking for financial help. I just want an opportunity”.
