The woman who accused Jay-Z of sexual assault in 2024 has now completely recanted and says the rapper never raped her, never behaved inappropriately toward her and, surprisingly, that she didn’t even know him. In a 12-page court declaration, she stated: “None of my allegations against Mr. Carter are true”.
The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, had initially accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping her when she was 13 and also named a second celebrity who was later identified as Jay-Z. She now says she began to doubt her own account and whether she had even attended the party where the alleged events took place.
Jay-Z has always denied the allegations and sued attorney Tony Buzbee for malicious prosecution. Buzbee challenged the new account and said that several attorneys on his team had previously heard the same story from the woman.
