Charlie Rousseau was born in Canada with only one arm and malformations in her legs. ❤️ As she has recounted publicly, when she was a teenager, she learned that her mother had tried to terminate the pregnancy and that the procedure may not have been completed. Charlie says she grew up feeling like any other girl and that it wasn’t until adolescence that she became truly aware of her physical differences.
At 19, she got her first job at a radio station, and years later she began traveling the world, visiting places such as the United Kingdom, Mexico, Ibiza, Portugal, and Australia. ✈️ “No one knows how much time you have here; don’t waste that time”, she said in a 2022 interview.
Today, at 29, Charlie continues to expand her career: she is a content creator, comedian, and actress, is part of the series “Vestiaires”, and continues to share her passion for travel through the podcast “Les Backpackeuses”. Her philosophy seems unchanged: seize opportunities and live life to the fullest. ❤️
