Kimberly was 18 when she got married and became pregnant with Landon. She was very scared, and her marriage was already falling apart.
Amid those problems, Ismael, her husband’s twin brother, came into the picture and became a good friend. When Landon was a year old, Ismael visited her in Mississippi for an event. They got married in 2016 and moved in with both children. Today, Landon is 19 and Skyler is 14. They are half-siblings and technically cousins, too. It took Landon a couple of years to call Ismael “Dad”, and he called him “Isma”, even though Ismael had taken on that role from the beginning.
