Tessica Brown just wanted to style her hair. 😅

In Violet, Louisiana, she ran out of her usual hairspray and grabbed the first thing she found in the closet: a Gorilla Glue adhesive spray, the kind used to bond metal and rubber.

She didn’t realize the mistake until it was too late. Her hair became hard as a rock, stuck to her scalp, and stayed that way for nearly a month. She washed it 15 times. Nothing worked. She went to the emergency room, and they couldn’t do anything either.

Her story went viral on TikTok and reached Los Angeles, where plastic surgeon Michael Obeng offered to operate on her for free.

The surgery lasted 4 hours, using light anesthesia, medical-grade remover, acetone, and even aloe vera. A procedure that normally costs around 12.500 dollars, she received it for free.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign she started just in case had already raised more than 20.000 dollars. All because of the wrong bottle on the bathroom cabinet. 🧴
