Amanahy Becerra, 24, offered veterinary surgeries in Visalia, California, at prices far below those of any clinic. C-sections, spaying and neutering, ear cropping, even vaccines. Everything at home, everything recorded for her social media.
The problem is that Becerra had no veterinary license or training. According to police, she also did not use proper anesthesia, so the animals felt every cut. In some cases, the owners themselves had to hold their pets so they would not move from the pain.
On April 29, 2026, she was arrested for animal cruelty after it was confirmed that at least one dog died and several others ended up in emergency care. She claims she never killed any animal and that the death was the result of a later euthanasia performed by the owner. She is already out on bail while the investigation remains open.
