A violent scene was captured on video on May 29 at a Shell service station in Las Condes, in Santiago, Chile. According to the background information, a woman driving a BMW filled up with fuel and, when it was time to pay, refused to do so.
When the workers tried to stop her from escaping, she began insulting them, hitting them, and even allegedly ran over one of them before fleeing the scene. Minutes later, she was arrested by Carabineros, who confirmed that she was under the influence of drugs.
In addition, the vehicle had expired documentation and had accumulated numerous fines. The company condemned the assault and is considering taking legal action against the driver.
