However, I haven’t heard anything from him”, was the message Rachel wrote in a Facebook group, thanks to which she found out that her boyfriend actually had a parallel family and even children.
It is common to hear that for love, people are capable of anything. In the case of Rachel Waters, she decided to cross borders when her boyfriend Paul mysteriously disappeared. But, to the young woman’s misfortune, she discovered a painful truth.

Paul McGee is originally from Norwich, England, but after finishing a master’s degree at the University of Great Britain, he was transferred as a brand manager to a company in Shenzhen, China. It was in that same town where he met Rachel Waters, and it did not take long before they fell madly in love with each other.
Rachel and Paul began a relationship, and they even moved in together. They remained that way for a while, until the man traveled to Norwich to visit family who lived in that town on his own.

For Rachel, it was not strange that her boyfriend wanted to travel and see his relatives, so she had no apprehension when Paul left. But, a few weeks after their goodbye, the man stopped communicating with his partner, without giving any sign of life.
Worried, Rachel began to investigate and ask about Paul desperately. He also did not return on the date he said he would, which made the woman think the worst: That her boyfriend was in serious trouble.
In her desperation, the young woman found through Facebook a group where only the residents of Norwich were members. Right there, Rachel wrote a post along with a photograph of her and Paul, asking the members if anyone had seen her boyfriend.

Unfortunately, the young woman found information about Paul, but probably not what she wanted. One of the group members knew Rachel’s boyfriend well, and knew that Paul McGee was actually a married man, with young children. “He has a wife and children and I really feel sorry for her right now”, the man replied in the post.
It turns out that Paul traveled to China, separating for a time from his actual wife, when the coronavirus pandemic caught him by surprise, leaving him with no possibility of returning to his nation.
There he met Rachel, but he never told her that he already had a family. When the man returned to his country, he reunited with his wife, deciding to give his family a new chance, and simply not answer the messages from his girlfriend, Rachel.

The young woman was devastated when she learned the truth, but at least she got rid of someone who did not value her.
