Anna and Lucy DeCinque wanted their appearance to become increasingly similar. The Australian twins spent 250.000 dollars on cosmetic procedures, including breast implants and fillers, to maintain that image.
But things changed. In an interview with New Idea cited by Allure in 2018, Anna said that comments and mockery on social media influenced her desire to look more natural. She said she regretted several procedures and that, if she could go back, she would do things differently. They were called “plastic dolls” and their lips were especially criticized.
By then, they had given up fillers, hair and eyelash extensions, and were looking to reverse their eyebrow microblading and tattooed lip liner. After years of trying to change their appearance to meet certain trends, the twins said they felt more confident embracing a more natural look.
