Belgian sculptor Matteo Ingrao (@matteoingrao) took the everyday into unsettling territory with a coffee pot and cups covered in synthetic skin, human hair, and bodily details like lips, nipples, and ear-like forms.

The work replaces traditional ceramic with materials that seem alive, making a simple cup of coffee feel strange, intimate, and disturbing.

His proposal aims to provoke an ambiguous reaction: the urge to touch, but also discomfort and rejection.
