Thunder Cat has been living with Xzibit since 2006, the same year the rapper became famous driving other people’s cars on Pimp My Ride. Today, that cat is around 20 years old, a figure that in feline terms is equivalent to surpassing a century.
The secret is neither magic nor luck. Xzibit explained that it all comes down to a strict routine: specific formulas for senior cats such as Hill’s Science Diet Adult 11+ and Royal Canin 11+, with small doses of Fancy Feast as an occasional treat, that guilty pleasure no cat turns down.
What has truly made the difference is constant medical care. Thunder Cat faces kidney and thyroid problems, so she regularly receives intravenous fluids with a veterinary team. That sustained care, more than any trick, is what has kept her alive two decades later.
