It all started with a video on TikTok.
Cash Jacobs, a fan facing stage 3 breast cancer, posted that she had a very special wish: for Miley Cyrus to be the one to shave her head before she faced the effects of chemotherapy.
The request reached the singer’s team, and after her October 18 show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the meeting finally took place backstage.
The moment was captured on video. In the video, Miley can be seen picking up the clippers and shaving Jacobs’s head while offering her words of encouragement. “You can be soft and strong at the same time”, she told her during one of the most intimate moments of the encounter.
Jacobs went on to share the footage on her social media and described the experience as a wish fulfilled in the midst of one of the most difficult periods of her life.
