Cameron Herrin, a young American man sentenced to 24 years in prison for killing a mother and her baby during an illegal street race, ended up becoming a viral phenomenon for a reason… a disturbing one. 😳
The case happened in 2018, when Herrin was driving at more than 160 km/h through the streets of Tampa, Florida, and fatally struck Jessica Reisinger-Raubenolt and her young daughter, Lilia. However, after receiving his sentence in 2021, thousands of videos and posts began appearing on TikTok and X calling for his release only because many women considered him “too attractive” to be in prison.
The reaction was so massive that the hashtag with his name racked up billions of views, filling up with romantic edits and messages of support for the convicted young man. 😐
