A 15-year-old teenager in London, United Kingdom, had to undergo emergency surgery in 2021 after a USB cable became trapped in his urethra while he was measuring his penis.
According to the case published in the medical journal Urology Case Reports, the young man tried to resolve the situation on his own, but ended up with severe pain and bleeding, so he had to go to the hospital.
Doctors discovered that the cable had knotted internally, making surgery necessary to remove it. Fortunately, the operation was successful and the teenager was discharged the following day without major complications.
