Pushpendra Kumar had everything planned for the perfect reel.
This 32-year-old man from the village of Parwai in Jhansi, India, climbed a perimeter wall almost 9 meters high at a lookout point at Pahuj Dam. His friends filmed from below while he calculated the jump: he thought he would land in deep water and may even have attempted a backflip before jumping. But the water where he landed was shallow and filled with rocks.
The impact fractured both his legs. He couldn’t swim or walk, so he dragged himself along with his hands until he reached an iron bar and held on until the police and his friends managed to get him out. He ended up in a hospital surrounded by his family, probably thinking about everything except likes.
