Andrés Morey Messina, 27, received his degree in Audiovisual Social Communication and Cinematic Arts at PUCMM, in the Dominican Republic, after 8 years of study. His university journey was long, demanding and marked by his diagnosis on the autism spectrum.
At first, he enrolled in Law, but later changed majors after discovering his interest in film, voice dubbing and audiovisual communication. With family support and institutional guidance, he was able to adapt his academic workload, receive guidance from teachers and move forward without giving up on his goal.
After graduating, he will begin working at a paint sales company in the Communications Department, where he will edit videos. His message to other students was direct: “Don’t give up”.
