Narendra Kumar, an 18-year-old from Uttar Pradesh, India, was rushed to the hospital after suffering severe weight loss, intense abdominal pain, and constant vomiting.
During surgery, the doctors were shocked to discover a rare case of “fetus in fetu”, an extremely uncommon condition in which an underdeveloped twin lives inside the other’s body.
The mass, weighing about 2,5 kilos, had hair, teeth, and bones, and had been growing inside Narendra for years while feeding on his blood. After the removal, the doctors confirmed that the operation was successful and that the young man was finally able to recover from the symptoms he had been suffering from for years.
