Security cameras captured the moment. A young woman was entering her building when a man intercepted the door to go after her.
Apparently the man waited for the elevator to arrive before getting in and rode it with her. At that moment, the young woman sensed that something was wrong, especially when the man got off on the same floor as her.
A simple move saved her.
Noticing that the man was not going anywhere in particular, the young woman quickly returned to the elevator, pressed the button for the first level, and left the place. Realizing he had been found out, the man tried to play it off by wandering around and pretending to look for something. However, his intentions were caught on camera, and the footage quickly went viral.
Most people comment that if it had not been for the young woman being alert instead of looking at her phone, the story could have ended in tragedy.
