Kira Cousins was at the center of one of the most viral deceptions on social media by faking a pregnancy in Scotland. The young woman organized a gender reveal party, received gifts, and moved everyone by inventing an illness for her future daughter. Her partner, family, and friends were deceived with a fake baby bump and cloned ultrasounds.

Cousins announced the birth of little Bonnie-Leigh on October 10. But TikTok users noticed a plastic texture in the photos of the supposed baby, and those around her discovered that there were no medical records of the birth.

In the end, it was discovered that the “baby”was a hyper-realistic silicone doll that even moved. After being exposed, she had to apologize on social media. Claiming mental health problems and a deep need for attention.
