The organization questioned one of the headdresses the singer wears during her current tour and raised the possibility that it contains feathers of animal origin.
However, so far there has been no public confirmation that the feathers are real. In fact, according to information reported by ¡HOLA!, the tour’s designers assured that the outfits were made with synthetic materials and high-fashion textile fibers.
Karol G, for her part, has not publicly responded to PETA Latino’s message.
The controversy sparked a debate on social media between those who support the organization’s appeal and those who believe the origin of the materials used should be confirmed first.
