Sharon Osbourne recalled the last moments she shared with her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025, at the age of 76.
In an interview with the BBC published on October 26, 2026, she said that the night before his death, they talked and Ozzy asked her for two kisses. Then he said: “Hold me, hold me tight”. Sharon did so, never imagining it would be one of their last displays of affection. The next morning, she was called to his room and discovered that he had died.

More than a year later, the presenter confessed that she visits his grave every day and is still trying to learn to live with his absence—and she doesn’t soften what she feels: “You’ve lost the love of your life, so you don’t wake up one day and say, ‘I’m fine, I’m healed”’ You never get over it. But you learn to live with it”.

Sharon and Ozzy were married from 1982 and had three children together. She decided that his remains should rest in the garden of their home, away from a public cemetery, so he could have peace.
Her testimony reflects one of the hardest parts of grief: understanding that losing the person who has been your life partner is not something you simply get over, but an absence you learn to live with.
