Zendaya took it seriously. Tom Holland, not so much.
During the promotional interviews for Spider-Man, the actors took part in fun drawing challenges. In one of them, they were asked to draw each other, and the result revealed a difference that was impossible to ignore.
Zendaya got to work and created a fairly detailed drawing of Tom, carefully capturing his features and expression. He, on the other hand, went for something much simpler: he drew her as a stick figure. But the top hat wasn’t a random detail. In another challenge, in which they had to depict the moment “The hat’s not working, this is not cool”, Tom and Jacob Batalon also drew Zendaya with that accessory, alluding to one of her looks.
The contrast between the portraits and the insistence on the famous hat made these challenges two especially funny moments. While Zendaya showed off her drawing skills, Tom and Jacob seemed to find their own way to make her laugh.
