Everyone feared the worst… But Jolie refused to give up and swam nonstop for 48 hours until she finally reached land near the coast of Águilas, Spain.
That’s where beachgoers found her and immediately alerted the police. Thanks to her microchip and a chain of international phone calls, authorities were able to locate her owners in Denmark, who quickly traveled to reunite with her.
