Donald Trump was harshly criticized for his behavior during an event to relaunch the Presidential Fitness Test, a series of competitions for public school students.
At the event, the President of the United States approached a young girl to ask her what sports she played, to which she replied that she played volleyball and sometimes tried to play soccer.
Trump replied by asking if, at her height, she could kick the ball well and if she could jump high enough, to which she shook her head.
In response, the president had no better idea than to make a tasteless joke: “Soccer might be better,” sparking backlash from many people on social media.
