Amid the wave of criticism, the Chilean influencer and model María José López told her detractors for kissing her son: “You’re going to have to put up with it…”
A mother is free to do with her children what she considers most convenient. However, when she exposes her ways and parenting on social media, there is no doubt that comments for or against will not take long to arrive.

This time, the Chilean influencer and model María José “Cote” López suffered a cyberattack when she shared some postcards from her Christmas this year, precisely kissing her youngest son on the mouth.
The images were reason for criticism from some followers, where one of them wrote: “Giving kisses on the mouth to children is in itself unhygienic and can cause them infection, inform yourselves about that…”
However, amid the criticism that called her “abusive,” the influencer wanted to respond to all those who do not agree with kissing her son on the mouth.

“Regarding whether I give my son kisses on the mouth, people have always written all kinds of things to me. Tell me, have I ever paid attention to you? So why do you keep writing the same thing to me. I have never done anything to please anyone. I do what comes naturally to me and makes me happy,” the model began by saying.
In this context, the Chilean woman assured that “a kiss in itself has no meaning,” and that she also kissed her daughters until they were seven or eight years old.
“My children never kissed another person on the mouth. That is what parents are for. I don’t know of any scientific study that says this is bad. The truth is, there is none proven. On the other hand, the absence of physical affection does have a negative effect on minors,” the influencer stated.

She added: “So you’re going to have to put up with it, because I have at least two little years left giving him little kisses, as long as he wants. I find it more disgusting when people want to give a sexual connotation to something so pure.”
It should be remembered that María José López has 4 children with footballer Luis “Mago” Jiménez: the triplets Rebecca, Raffaella, Isidora (12) and Luis Jesús (6).
