Following the tension caused by Neymar’s assault on Robinho Jr. during a training session, the players made up publicly after Santos’s recent match, as Neymar himself explained.
“It was a misunderstanding, a reaction, and I went a little overboard. But I apologized right away, we talked in the locker room, and we understood each other. He’s a guy I care about deeply, in a very special way, and these things happen in soccer,” said the former Barcelona player.
But the one who didn’t like this at all was Robinho, who, from prison, won’t accept a simple apology and is demanding that the case have serious consequences: a financial penalty for Neymar and the release of the video showing him hitting his son.
