Aitor Ruibal is a soccer player who has been subjected to various insults in Spanish soccer stadiums. The reason? He carries a bag to hold his belongings, which led some fans to disparagingly question his sexuality.

But the Betis player responded to all these rumors very clearly: “I’m not gay, and I don’t want to speak on behalf of the community. I don’t understand why they insult us by calling us gay. What difference does it make if I am?”

“The bag? I carry it because my things don’t fit. It’s like a fanny pack, but it blows people’s minds,” the Spaniard concluded.
